House Hockey
Aurora Ice Association (AIA), East Aurora Beast Hockey offers a premier 8U and 10U development program for beginning hockey players. This program is for players who turn 8 or 10, during this calendar year, or younger, and have some skating ability.
AIA follows the recommended USA Hockey ADM (American Development Model) program. Under this model offers three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Do you offer an 8U girls program?
We have many girls who play in our 8U program but we do not currently offer all girls teams. There are however opportunities throughout the season for our 8U girls to participate in all girl events and friendlies with other area associations.
Are there goalies in 8U?
Yes, goalies are introduced at 8U. All players will have the opportunity to try goaltending for a series of practices and game if they are interested.
What equipment is needed?
In addition to hockey skates, full protective equipment is required to play ice hockey, Learn More.

Season Length
The 8U program begins in October with Skills Development and Evaluation Sessions. The season runs through February.
Practices & Games
8U House has 3 ice touches per week:
- Wednesday's at 6:30pm - ADM Practice
- Saturday's at 7:00am - ADM Practice
- Sunday's at 8:00am - Game Day!
JERSEYS
East Aurora Beast Hockey provides all 8U House players with a jersey / sock uniform kit as part of registration. The 8U coaching staff will work with families to get their players fitted a few weeks before the season begins.

The 10U House program begins in October with practices. Games begin in early November. The season runs through February.

10U House has 2.5 ice touches per week:
- Weekday - Practice
- Weekday - Practice (every other week)
- Weekend - Game (Home or Away)
